Grounded in Faith, Gathered in Love, Engaging the World with God's Amazing Grace.
Welcome
At Zion, you’ll find we’re young, old and in-between. Some of us love contemporary worship, and some of us prefer the more traditional hymns we sing. We offer a blended worship experience that above all else allows us to “Engage the World with God’s Amazing Grace!” Our prayer is that you will visit and feel at home and want to continue to worship with us on a regular basis or whenever you’re just passing through.

Gathered in Love
Zionsville Lutheran Church has a long, proud history of serving the community. Through the dedication of our leadership, pastors and volunteers, we are committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ, and are here to spread His message. We are open to worshippers of all ages and backgrounds, and strive to lead all who worship with us towards a deeper love for God.

From the Pastor's Desk...
That we all may be one..,

That's a prayer of Jesus' in the Gospel of John. That we may be one as he and the Father are one. What does it mean to strive for unity? As someone who has some experience in disaster response, disaster chaplaincy I've observed certain things.

One of the almost universal questions that arises is whether or not God is punishing us for something. Even though we have the promise that God will be our God and we will be God's people as well as God promising to remember our sins no more. (how much stronger can God be in promising not to punish us for our sins than that) We still wonder.

In those times of wonder, it seems to bring us together. What if we lived in that kind of search for unity all the time... not just in times of crisis? What if we could put aside the need to choose sides and prove the other side wrong and find God's love as a constant that we can rally around?

As we move into the season of Thanksgiving, may we be thankful not just for the blessing that is God's creation and our call to be good stewards of it, but to be thankful for a world of people with different gifts that bring love into the world in so many different ways. May every day be a day when we put aside the adiaphora, the things that are on the edges of life and focus on the gift of life itself: I came that you may have life and have it abundantly.
